Herpetofauna: One Life's List

Smilisca baudinii
Mexican Treefrog

Sonora, Mexico
August 21, 2011

Walking to my room, I spotted my first Mexican Treefrog sitting on the edge of the swimming pool at our hotel in Alamos.  I dropped my luggage, reached for my camera and took the picture at right.  During the August monsoons in southern Sonora, these treefrogs were common and active, in town and in the field.
